It is the fear that haunts persistently,

Regardless of time changing into days and nights,

It is the fear of being unfair once again,

And embezzling and depriving others of their dues,

It is the fear of being malicious once again,

And subjugating the weak and the pliant,

It is the fear of vitiating the environment once again,

And afflicting mother earth with numberless complaints,

It is the fear of being divided once again,

And speaking ill in names of caste, creed and religion,

It is the fear of being blindfolded once again,

And darting others with arrows of prejudice,

It is the fear of overriding the laws of nature once again,

And leading lives, reckless and pointless,

It is the fear, which sees the minds crippling under transgressions,

And the sores of earth reeking and swelling once again.
