Time To Be Healed Now

Time blushed with ignorance displayed,

Time stupefied with foolishness revealed,

Time turned insane with fanaticism, sundry,

Time embarrassed with superstitions, numerous,

Time boiled in the cauldron of hatred,

Time lacerated with canes of prejudice,

Time sliced and bleeds into divisions,

Time smashed of all its equanimity,

Time rots under heaps of rumours and unfair remarks,

Time robbed of all its grandeur and cast into a dark and deep pit.

Time to be healed now of all its disorders,

With sensibility and scientific temper,

With unity and magnanimity,

With generosity and charity,

With adaptability and co-operation,

With prayers for one and all on the earth,

But in seclusion and segregation,

Time to be healed now of all its disorders,

To gather the colossal might,

To set it free from COVID-19’s seizure.
