My freedom breathes in my choice,

Whether to wear headscarf

 Or keep my hair open,

My freedom breathes in my choice,

Whether to cover me up

Or see me in miniskirt,

My freedom breathes in my choice,

Whether to celebrate motherhood

Or fight in war front with the same valour,

My freedom breathes in my choice,

Whether to see me and him as identical

Or as distinct but equal,

My freedom breathes as long as I have choices,

Unimposed, unconditioned

And blissful both for me and all.
