Who can hold me from going back to that world?

                     Back to that world,

                     Where love bloomed,

                  Fresh and unconditional,

And dewed with drops of peace.

Who can hold me from going back to that world?

                    Back to that world,

Where innocence with its sprightly feet

Bounded and echoed in every street.

Who can hold me from going back to that world?

                      Back to that world,

Where prayer and righteousness had never any discord,

And roamed around as close cohorts.

Who can hold me from going back to that world?

                      Back to that world,

Where morality appointed its guiding principles,

On the top of its surveillance’s tower

To guide back the drifted steps

To the hallowed path of sanity and integrity.

Who can hold me back from longing for that world?

            From longing for that world,

When time around foams to its mouth

Swallowing the venoms of hatred, jealousy,

         Vengeance and intolerance.
