Forget the busy streets,

And forget the brimmed cinema halls,

Forget the teeming malls,

And forget the swarming markets,

Forget the congregations,

And throw all the parties away to the bin,

Be caught into the webs of isolation,

And feel their gossamer finesse at homes,

Forget the religions as dividing lines,

But follow them as ways of life,

To keep us sanitized and washed,

To keep us veiled or masked,

To keep us vegan and strong,

Remember one and all in the prayer,

And never miss to salute the squads,

Battling to keep us safe and well,

Hold the cudgel of responsibility in hands,

And never allow the virus to sweep away the human race.
